This design takes the forgotten Taz Waz Pokhra and makes it a usable public space despite being boxed in by buildings. The main challenge was the cramped area and the soil eroding the banks, which was threatening nearby foundations. The solution was to build a strong gabion wall and boundary wall to firm up the edges and clearly mark the pond's space. The plan then adds essential public features like a projected walkway, seating areas, and a screen of heavy planting and new toilets along the boundary wall.
