Our task for this Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Urban (PMAY-U) initiative in Jabalpur was to transform a 43-acre plot of barren, rocky terrain and small hillocks at Mohaniya into functional, quality urban housing. To address the shortage for EWS and MIG categories, the design efficiently placed 30 EWS (S+5) and four MIG (S+5) towers, a livelihood center, and a market complex onto the challenging site. Despite the difficult terrain, we ensured the development was fully equipped with all necessary public amenities, including a park and temple, alongside essential infrastructure like a robust drainage and sewerage system and a proper approach road.
