The design prioritized safety by optimizing the roundabout's geometry. Carefully calibrated approach widths slow vehicle speeds, while strategically placed splitter islands and yield lines guide drivers and sharply reduce potential conflict points. Pedestrian safety was addressed with guided pathways buffered by edge plantations, and clearly marked zebra crossings with refuge islands to facilitate safe street crossing. Beyond traffic improvements, the project created new public spaces, such as an open plaza and sitting areas, to foster community interaction.
