The Banyan Tree Boulevard project, a key initiative of the Tumakuru Smart City Mission, was designed to be a pedestrian-friendly zone that conserved the site's natural heritage—specifically the century-old Banyan Trees (18 Nos) and their riparian features—by designing dedicated seating areas along prop roots, enhanced flooring patterns, and vibrant flower beds without disturbing the existing trees, while also incorporating a children's play area and an interactive zone for cultural activities.
