The new Railway Training Institute, located at the heart of DDU's Plant Depot, adds three key buildings to the campus. The Main Building is a single-story structure housing classrooms, a library, a lab, a meeting hall, and administrative offices. The Hostel Block is a G+1 building with 16 twin-bed rooms, a kitchen, a dining area, a recreational room, and accommodations for a warden and caretaker. The Structural Yard, also G+1, provides industrial training infrastructure, including an inspection cell, a millwright, and offices for trainers.

The campus's design concept emphasizes architectural harmony and a user-focused experience. All three buildings feature grand, double-height entrances with brick jali and cladding, creating a textured feel that reflects the mechanical work performed there. Vertical elements are highlighted throughout to give the single and double-story buildings a grand aesthetic. The consistent color palette of warm brick and cream panels provides a classic, grounded feel, ensuring a unified look and a strong sense of place across the campus.
