The design for the RVNL Type V Officers' Quarters at DRM Danapur offers a contemporary living and working space. Each approximately 3,500 sq ft flat is designed for G+6 structure with three bedrooms, attached toilets, a study, a private seating area, an office, a service area, and servant quarters. For now only G+2 is constructed.
The building's aesthetic reflects a modern, progressive vision for the Indian Railways through its use of clean lines, a light blue and white color scheme, and metallic-railed balconies. Designed for the subtropical climate, large windows and strategic balconies maximize natural light and ensure passive thermal comfort. The interior layouts are optimized for modern living, official function, and efficient use of space.
