Chanakya National Law University was started in the year of 2006 under the Chanakya National Law University Act, 2006 (Bihar Act No. 24 of 2006). It is a public university and approved by UGC (University Grants Commission).
The campus has been constructed over 18 acres of land. This university provides all residential facilities separately for boys and girls along with all essential academic facility. But in the entire outdoor campus area there is no any outdoor facilities like seating wall or, benches or, any shaded area.
The scope of work is to integrate the built environment (buildings) with the natural surroundings to enhance the overall campus experience. Landscape design for a college campus focuses on creating functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable outdoor spaces that support the institution's educational, social, and environmental goals.
The design area includes the following zone:
Using planting palettes, hardscape materials, and architectural features that reflect the institutional identity, regional context, and architectural style.
Outdoor Designing varied spaces that accommodate both informal social interactions and structured learning.
